The Metropol Theater is a theater covered in Tarragona today, located at number 46 of the Rambla Nova.
It is a modernist work of 1908 by the architect Josep Maria Jujol. It is an early work clearly influenced by Gaudi, Jujol who had just worked on the house Batllo. Jujol set the room as "a ship that led viewers to the sea of salvation." Limited by a space that gave freedom architectural Jujol focuses on the decorative details that revolve around the idea of the ship.
